So this Astronaut walks into a bar and says “What the hell do you think I am, a freaking Comedian? No, I’m an Astronaut at a bar and I’m ready to get a right bit tossed you bloody wanker!” Obviously, we here at Orange32 are comedic geniuses, you probably won’t even be able to grasp our genius since you are obviosly small minded and have a brain the size of a walnut, while we have heads 3 times the size of the biggest Mongoloid and can kill people with a single head butt.

Crobar Flyers

So yeah, we do some work for nightclubs here and there, but we only work for the best. And Crobar is one of the most amazing clubs in the world, plus they have a good eye for design. Besides having an open tab at NYC’s biggest club is one hell of a perk. We have a pretty free range on the design and we usually get pretty involved, wether it’s custom typography or photo treatments, Crobar gets the 032 special treatment. Go check that place out, tell them the fools at Orange32 sent you, they might hook you up. You might even catch one of us stumbling around in the bathroom.

Papparazzi Chic

We were working on the Abkco site when we came across this amazing picture of Phil Spector flipping the bird back in the 70’s. He had this crazy belt buckle and coke spoon lapel pin, it’s was freakin’ awesome. So anyway, we sent an email to Brad Elterman who is a famous old school papparazzi who took the shot, and told him we completely sweat his work. So he checked us out and what do you know, he liked our work too. So we decided to barter for that photo of Phil, Brad was starting an clothing line and wanted us to design the graphics. So we did, and we like to think we did a damn good job. And the best part is… that great photo of Phil is now ours!

National Jean Company

The kind folks at National Jean Company asked for a hand with their e-commerce site and we pretty much convinced them into a rebrand of their company. We started to phase out the old logo in direct mail pieces and introduced new imagery we had from a photo shoot including staff members of National Jean. We introduced a simple type set for their logo and concentrated mainly on a graphic style to keep the brand consistent. We wanted their site to look nice and be highly functional at the same time. Go take a look and buy something, you know you want to.

Abkco Web Site

“Beware of ABKCO,” “Beware of Darkness” is a song by George Harrison that featured on his first post-beatle album “All Things Must Pass”. When he was demoing this song for Phil Spector during 1970 he jokingly changed one line of the lyrics to “Beware of ABKCO”, probably referring to the economic disaster the Beatles went through because of Allen Klein’s mismanagement.

This is the first thing we learned about Abkco before we started working for them, it turned out they weren’t that bad. We tried to convey the feel of a fan and audiophile mixed together. We custom made all the buttons, polaroids, pieces of paper to keep the feel right. We incorporated flash movie and audio players into the site. The site also included some pretty heavy CMS work as the client wanted to completely manage their site, and the content was pretty extensive. Go show this one to your parents.

Alchemy Web Site

Alchemy Vodka came to us with a concept and left with everything they needed. From the logo, to the bottle design all the way to the website, we brought their concept to completion. This web site was a fun one. We started out with the concept of an alchemist and bought a leather bound book which we filled with our version of alchemist drawings and mad scientist scribbles. We then weathered and stained the book to give it an aged feel. The actual photo shoot took place at an abandoned psychiatric hospital, guerilla style. Setting up in the basement wasn’t an exactly comfortable setting especially after seeing a mummified cat laid out on a table next to a perfectly laid out straight flush. The photo shoot came out perfect and helped us execute the site exactly to the clients vision, and then copious amounts of vodka was consumed. You should try this stuff, Polaks really do make better vodka!

Medicia Web Site

medicia2

That’s right sucka’s CSS is officially hot, Web 2.0 in your face! Medicia is a healing spa that wanted a nice and light feel to their site, which is pretty easy with Web 2.0. It’s pleasant to the eyes and very soothing, we’re actually falling asleep writing this…… um yeah, so Web 2.0 + Orange32 = Mediciaspa.com
