So since Myspace is so overhyped right now, people want to spend money to have a Myspace “presence” or “brand reinforcement” or “stupid term to get you to spend money”, people are charging money for customized pages. And since there’s money going around Orange32 is game. While we believe that most companies do not need an online presence like this, it can be useful for certain businesses. A nightclub can definitely benefit from having a myspace presence, especially the way promotions work. We decided on a nice clean layout that allows the viewer to get the most important info quickly, and to realize that it will be useful to return to quickly see the upcoming events. And the rest, well it’s myspace, what the hell can we say about it. Send us a friend request.

We were approached by this Madison Avenue hair salon to assist in improving their image. With Nicky Hilton and other famous New Yorker’s getting their hair done there, they receive quite a bit of press and were not happy with their image. Once your logo starts showing up in the pages of national magazines, you can see if it’s up to par real fast. They wanted a logo that felt and looked better, and they needed something that could translate to packaging better. You will see the new line we designed for them soon. We showed you some of the directions that we took. We felt a custom hand drawn logo gave it a nicer feel and matched the flower from a batik used in the salon. Maybe the Hilton’s will give us some work now, we’d love to design the packaging for the next Paris Hilton porno.

Yes Myspace, Yourspace, Rupert Murdoch’s space. Are you ready for the New World Order? So, with this Myspace thing getting out of hand, our good friends at Sweetface Fashion received a Myspace marketing proposal from some company. Ready for this nonsense? It was to the tune of $60K with this huge proposal of how the conversion rates would ring over $2-3 million dollars in sales. Okay, so if you want to buy the Brooklyn Bridge I suggest you call these guys because they will definitely sell it to you. So we took a meeting to assure our clients that these guys were on the proverbial “pipe”, our clients were in agreeance but thought they could use a presence on the site, and we agreed. We took some footage, sound clips and offered giveaways to gather demographics and a mailing list. And of course it looks great, beacause Orange32 did it, not those other crackheads.

Subliminal Records is Erick Morillo’s record label. They put out some quality cd compilations called Subliminal Sessions. This is one of there releases we did for them. The roll out includes cd design, posters, ads and one sheets. We normally try to write funny stuff, but man, it’s raining out and I feel like getting naked and dancing in the rain. So I gotta go, hopefully the cops won’t show up this time. Man I love my job!

So here is another one of those fun projects. Erick Morillo is a pretty famous DJ/Producer. If you’re not familiar with the house music scene, then you probably at least know one song he produced back in the 90’s “I Like To Move It” which I’m sure you’ve heard in numerous sporting arenas and in Disney’s movie “Madagascar”, anyway the song is cheesy and annoying but made him buckets of money, which he used to start a record label called Subliminal Records. Well what the hell does that have to with this you might ask, and I’ll tell you absolutely nothing, I’m just rambling here. Anyway, we do all the design work for Subliminal and Erick asked us to work on a logo. He really didn’t know what he wanted which was a great help for graphic designers as you all know. So in between his journeys back and forth to Ibizia and around the world this project has been dragging so we posted it because we’re bored. And honestly this post is long and boring and has nothing to with anything and if you have read this whole post I’m not sure wether to thank you or laugh at you. Cheers! (I’m writing this from London Heathrow Airport, so there’s some local flavour for you)
