We were approached by Translation to design this for their client, McDonalds. Not our client, their client. If McDonalds was our client we wouldn’t be writing silly blogs, we’d be in the Mediteranean on our yacht with Lindsey Lohan wasted and naked as she usually is, and of course your Mom. Doing very, very, very bad things. But we’re not, so back to this blog. It was a competition at the Fashion Institute of Technology to design the new McDonalds uniform. I’m sure that will look amazing on your resume when you try to get a job at Valentino. “You designed the new McDonalds uniform, oh you’re hired.” Anyway, McDonalds, FIT, Translation and Orange32, what a weird combination.
We just wrapped up the photo shoot for this years National Jean Company campaign with our main man Sam Bassett. We pulled off 2,000 plus shots in 8 hours at Pink Elephant nightclub in NYC, which is a new record for us. This is the first postcard to go out from the new shoot. We’re working on the catalog right now and should have it done and up here in a few weeks. Check back soon, suckas! Click here to see more of this project.
Nightclubs change names, alot. So when Soho323 called us and told us they were changing there name we were like cha-ching. Seriously, come on, you don’t like making money? Anyway, so back to this. NOCA - North of Canal, get it? This is a simple logo but is dead on, directional star and freaking big letters. What’s not to like? So go ahead and challange us, change your name as many times as you want and we’ll keep smacking you in the face with killer logos. Click here to see more of this project.
